Music With Maddy - Songwriting Workshops

Unlock your creativity and learn to craft powerful, original songs in this immersive three-part workshop series with singer-songwriter Maddy Marsh. With her big voice and cheeky charisma, she will belt her heart out at any opportunity, then bring it down to lull you into awe as she drives emotion into delicate melodies, leaving nothing behind on stage.

Across three engaging 3-hour sessions, participants will explore lyric writing, melody creation, song structure, and techniques used by professional contemporary artists. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your songwriting skills, this hands-on course will help you turn your ideas into polished, performable songs. With a mix of poetry, music theory, games and performance work, there will be something for any creatively adventurous mind.

Work towards completing part or all of your new song to perform amongst your peers and family members, showcasing what you have learnt at an intimate end of workshop show.

This workshop is a fun and safe space to learn about music, and to have a go at something new or to hone your skills.
