Top Rope Artificial Climbing - Course
July 7th – 9th, 2026 | Swan Valley Adventure Centre
Gain the experience and qualifications to lead top rope artificial climbing sessions. This three-day intensive training (9am–4pm daily) prepares you to set up, supervise, and lead participants safely during artificial climbing sessions at an accredited level.

VET Competencies Covered:
- SISOCLM001 – Top rope climb single pitches, artificial surfaces
- SISOCLM005 – Establish belays for single pitch climbing on artificial surfaces
- SISOCLM008 – Lead single pitch climbing activities on artificial surfaces, top rope climbing
Knowledge and performance-based assessments for all units must be completed successfully to achieve the above competencies. Delivered by Swan Valley Adventure Centre (SVAC) in agreement with Scouts Australia Institute of Training (SAIT) RTO 5443.
Course Requirements:
Minimum 18 years of age
Physical fitness for all course activities
Previous experience with roping activities desired

Artificial Abseiling Course
