Some of the most valuable learning happens beyond the classroom. Standing at the top of the Flying Fox tower. Building a raft together and putting it to the test. Encouraging a classmate through the Commando Course. These are the moments where students discover what they’re capable of.
At Swan Valley Adventure Centre, our camps and excursions are built around experiential learning. Students take on meaningful challenges, work together, build confidence and reflect on their experiences, taking those lessons back to school and everyday life.
The result is more than a memorable camp. Students step outside their comfort zones, strengthen relationships, develop resilience and return with a greater sense of confidence, connection and achievement.
Overnight Camps
From a short stay adventure to a full week away, our camps are all about getting students out of the classroom, trying new things and having fun together. With six camp houses across our expansive site, we can welcome groups of all sizes and create a camp experience that works for you.
Choose from more than 30 activities, with each program tailored to your students, their age and your learning goals, including opportunities to support Australian Curriculum outcomes. Our qualified instructors lead the activities, so teachers can focus on encouraging students, sharing the experience and enjoying camp too.
Best of all, everything happens in one place - accommodation, catering and adventure. That means less time travelling and more time climbing, paddling, problem-solving, laughing and making memories as students connect, challenge themselves and grow.
Day Excursions
Big adventure. One school day. No overnight bags required!
Swap the classroom for a day of action, challenge and connection. With three or four activities packed into a single visit, students can climb, paddle, problem-solve, work as a team and try something completely new - all without a night away from home.
Perfect for end-of-term celebrations, transition days, leadership programs, team building or simply bringing a year group together, our day excursions deliver all the fun and impact of camp in one adventure-filled day.

One location. One team. One great camp experience.
From meals and accommodation to activities and open spaces, everything you need for camp is right here. Our on-site chefs prepare meals and cater for dietary requirements, while our qualified instructors lead the adventure. Our team members also hold appropriate Working with Children Checks.
With camp houses, activities, dining facilities and ovals all within easy walking distance, there’s less moving around, simpler supervision and more time for students to explore, connect and have fun.
