Meet the Team

A native New Yorker, Sean brings to the centre over 30 years of experience in the athletic, hospitality and finance sectors. Prior to moving to Australia, Sean was the director of athletics at the Kings College and prior to that he has worked as a runner for 12 years and worked his way up to becoming a trader at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Sean is also a qualified professional chef, and his professions and skills has taken him all over the globe. Sean brings a wealth of knowledge in business development, sales, financial and organisational management to the adventure centre to ensure high quality and exceptional services are provided to all visitors.

Maree has been at the adventure centre for over 20 years. She works alongside Sean to help manage the centre and runs our admin team here to ensure our bookings are organized upon the guest’s arrival.

Deborah has been working at the adventure centre for over 15 years. She helps organise the centre's finances to help fund our activities run by the centre for all our visitors to enjoy.

Grant started at Swan Valley Adventure Centre back in 2019 as a casual instructor. Since then he has progressed through the ranks of Senior Instructor and late 2022 became the Activity Manager. Grant has been volunteering and working with youth and adults for over 15 years in the Outdoor Industry. His passion is mentoring and encouraging both youth and adults to succeed to the best of their ability in the physically and emotionally demanding situations they face whilst participating in their programmed activities. His background in training and assessing helps his team of instructors to develop their skills, ensuring an exciting and safe program is delivered.

Richard has been the Swan Valley Adventure Centre Operations Manager for over 13 years. He oversees housekeeping, laundry and day to day operations at the adventure centre. His team helps maintain and provide high quality hospitality for our guests arriving at the centre to ensure their time here is a memorable one.
