Are you a hands-on individual with excellent customer service and exceptional attention to detail?  If so, please read on because we are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support booking enquiries through to delivery of events.

Our Administrative Assistant will work closely with the entire team at Swan Valley Adventure Centre (SVAC) to ensure an overall positive guest experience. The Administrative Assistant will manage all aspects of SVAC bookings, focusing on customer service. This role also includes supporting the Accounts Manager with accurate and efficient numerical data entry.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they meet the following criteria:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience working with booking/accounting software would be an advantage
  • Quality customer service, problem solving and analytical ability
  • Ability to work flexible hours and some weekends/public holidays

We are looking for someone who is personable and focused and has the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Swan Valley Adventure Centre is an entity of the Anglican Diocese of Perth, therefore the successful candidate must be supportive of the Anglican Church and its values. They will be required to hold a National Police Certificate and a Working with Children Check.

Are you a hands on, innovative, outside-of-the-box thinker passionate about marketing?  If so, please read on because we are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to support sales through delivery of strategic marketing campaigns.

 

Our Marketing Coordinator will report to the Sales and Marketing Executive and will work closely with

the management team in Swan Valley Adventure Centre (SVAC). The Marketing Coordinator will manage all marketing aspects of SVAC focusing on the digital aspects of the business. Some responsibilities include collaboration in development and maintenance of marketing campaigns; creation, execution and management of all digital platforms for SVAC, as well as monitoring and reporting on campaign effectiveness.

 

The successful candidate will be highly skilled in graphic design and marketing – Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat DC, as well as have strong skills in Microsoft, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing or a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrable prior achievement of successful campaign delivery
  • Demonstrable ability to engage the market across multiple channels
  • Familiarity with marketing support systems
  • Experience with content management tools, WordPress and Craft
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • High level of proficiency with digital platforms, including web development interfaces, Google Workspace, social media channels and administrative tools, direct email marketing tools and content management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities to deliver results on message, on brand, on time and on budget
  • Conversant and competent with Microsoft Office and Adobe suite of products
  • Conversant and competent with Google/Facebook analytics and other metrics
  • Conversant and competent with developing both print and digital media
  • Ability to work flexible hours and some weekends/public holidays

The Swan Valley Adventure Centre is a joint venture between the Perth Diocesan Trustees and the Anglican Schools Commission (Inc.) which offers various custom designed outdoor education programmes to suit the schools’ individual needs. We use experiential learning to develop the students in a variety of outcome-based activity programmes, such as Leadership, Problem Solving, etc.

We are currently looking for a casual Outdoor Instructor to join our team. The Outdoor Instructor will contribute to the delivery of outdoor education programmes and activities at Swan Valley Adventure Centre. They will run activities in which they are qualified and assist in all other activities.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Cert III outdoor recreation or equivalent experience; minimum 2 years of experience
  • Two or more of the following nationally recognised qualifications in roping, canoeing and kayaking, such as ACIA guide or instructor, Australian canoeing flat water instructor, or similar
  • A commitment to deliver good customer service
  • The ability to empathise and support individuals in situations which are physically and emotionally demanding
  • Enthusiasm for the outdoor environment
  • The ability to assess a situation rapidly and act decisively under pressure
  • Excellent leadership, group management and communication skills
  • Good stamina and technical skills in a range of outdoor activities
  • Able to work evenings and weekends

In addition to this, our Outdoor Instructor must hold a current Working with Children Check, a valid National Police Certificate and a current First Aid Certificate.
